SAMS (Society of Archaeological Masters Students) at UCL is pleased to announce the IoA’s fourth annual conference for Masters Students, run by Masters Students, that will take place Friday 3rd June 2016 at the Institute of Archaeology in London. Please see the attached flyer for details. The theme is "From the Field to the Museum: Modern Approaches to Cultural Heritage and Engagement", which gives everyone an opportunity to participate, regardless of your MA degree and specialisation. This is an opportunity to discuss your area of research, perhaps stemming from your dissertation. Open to all Masters Students, as the aim of this conference is to give you a chance to present your work to a large audience as a graduate student. We also welcome submissions from recent IoA Masters graduates as well as Masters Students from other institutions. For external university applicants who wish to present, SAMS is prepared of offer travel expense reimbursement up to a £15 value per person. If you wish to participate and give a 15-20 minute talk followed by questions, please submit an abstract (of no more than 250 words) accompanied by a proposed working title by Friday 11th April 2016 to the official SAMS's email address: [email protected].
